MAACA Regional Training Event- Lab Scope Essentials
Saturday, February 7, 2026 (9:00 AM - 5:00 PM) (EST)
Description
If you or your technicians want to stop guessing and start diagnosing with confidence, this training is built for exactly that.
Lab Scope Essentials: Building Confident Diagnostic Skills is an 8-hour, hands-on course designed for technicians who want to get comfortable using a lab scope and apply it effectively in real-world diagnostics. Whether you’re newer to diagnostics or an experienced tech who doesn’t use a scope regularly, this class focuses on the core skills that actually matter in the bay.
This training covers how to properly set up and operate a lab scope, understand basic waveform patterns, and recognize what “normal” looks like so problems stand out faster. The emphasis is on common, repeatable tests that technicians can use every day to verify faults, reduce guesswork, and avoid unnecessary parts replacement.
Rather than diving into theory for theory’s sake, this course stays grounded in practical application. The goal is simple: help you diagnose more accurately, work more efficiently, and make better decisions earlier in the diagnostic process.
Technicians will leave with a stronger foundation, a clearer understanding of waveform diagnostics, and the confidence to put a lab scope to work immediately back at the shop.
This class is led by trainers from ExperTech Automotive Training, known for delivering practical, technician-focused education.
Seats are limited for this hands-on training.
